בי"ת ה'תראו כמה יפה אני כותב'
אני לא יודעת מה בדיוק קורה בשפות אחרות. כלומר, אני יכולה לתאר לעצמי שהן עוברות תהליכים דומים, אבל אני לא באמת יודעת. אני כן יודעת שבעברית יש לנו שפה כתובה ושפה מדוברת. לא ממש במוצהר, אבל כן לגמרי בפועל. ואם העברית הכתובה היא מוקפדת יותר, הרי שבדבורה מותר הכול. או כמעט הכול. וכמעט כל אדם עושה את המעברים האלו, מן העברית התקנית יותר שהוא קורא, אל העברית המדוברת, שבה הוא מרשה לעצמו להגיד כל מיני דברים שהוא לא רוצה לקרוא.
אבל קיים גם מהלך הפוך, מן העברית הדבורה לעברית הכתובה, ושם, כמעט כולם עושים איזה מין "מקצה שיפורים" כזה. מנסים לכתוב נכון יותר. או לפחות יפה יותר. ואז נולדים כל מיני עיוותים…
אחד מהעיוותים האלו, שמי שיודע עברית היטב לא יעשה לעולם, הוא זה שאני קוראת לו "בי"ת ה'תראו כמה יפה אני כותב'".
מה זה אומר?
זה אומר שבמקום לכתוב 'אם' פשוטה, נקייה ויפה, מתהדרים להם הכותבים ב'באם'.
במקום לכתוב 'כדי' הם משתדרגים ל-'בכדי'.
ביטוי שגוי אחר שמתהדר בתחילתו בבי"ת, וכל כולו צועק לא רק 'תראו כמה יפה אני כותב' אלא גם 'תראו כמה יפה אני מדבר', הוא הצירוף "במידה ו". במידות יש להשתמש רק לצורכי מדידה. אם רציתם להגיד 'אם', אמרו 'אם'.
